My name is Mercedes Cañizares. I am a native Spanish speaker and hold degrees in B. Ed. Spanish Language and MSc in Translation Studies. I have been teaching Spanish in the UK for over 25 years.
I have provided private tutoring to a large variety of ages and levels from beginners to advanced conversation. I have a solid knowledge of the national standards in Modern Languages set by the SQA (Nat 5, Higher and Advanced Higher), in particular when it comes to course content and exam requirements.
I am based in North Berwick, East Lothian, where lessons are conducted.
